Don’t take this warning lightly, the fine facing defiant tourists is rather steep: between 68 and 275 euros. That’s the price to pay for a moment of contemplation in these zones. A bit expensive, right? However, local officials assure that this measure is primarily aimed at raising awareness among village visitors, rather than filling municipal coffers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, Portofino seems determined to preserve its treasures and tranquillity in the face of the rising tide of tourists.
