In the middle of the pandemic, this feels good and hurts at the same time.\u00a0The online booking giant Tripadvisor has published its\u00a0Travellers’ Choice Awards<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0for the best beaches in 2021.\u00a0This global ranking was compiled based on Internet users’ reviews posted over twelve last months.\u00a0At Destination(s) Europe, we wanted to focus on the beaches of the Old Continent.\u00a0So, what are the best beaches in Europe according to travellers?\u00a0Let’s find out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spiaggia dei Conigli | Italy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Just to be clear, the Tripadvisor users’ favourite beach is not in Europe.\u00a0In fact, it is\u00a0Whitehaven Beach<\/strong>\u00a0in Australia.\u00a0The first European destination on the list is Spiaggia\u00a0dei\u00a0Conigli, a beautiful beach in Lampedusa, Italy, which made it to the 8th place<\/strong> in the ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201crabbit beach\u201d is located on the western part of this small island off the coast of Sicily. Its magnificent turquoise waters attracting the tourists are under careful environmental protection.<\/p>\n\n\n

Playa de Cofete | Spain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0Cofete beach\u00a0in Spain is ranked 11th in the world. This sandy beach is a small wild paradise located in the Canary Islands, in the north of the Jand\u00eda peninsula.\u00a0It is not so easy to get here, either. But when you do, you are rewarded with some exceptional views. Indeed, there are few homes on its twelve-kilometre-long stretch.\u00a0Instead, it is wild nature.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surprisingly, this is a beach in the heart of a city.\u00a0The Beach of La Concha\u00a0is located in San Sebasti\u00e1n, in\u00a0the Spanish Basque Country<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0The crescent-shaped seaside looks like a shell in the Bay of Biscay, lying at the foot of Igueldo and Urgull mountains.\u00a0If you decide to go there, here’s a piece of advice: make sure to spend a night at the Mercure Monte Igueldo hotel.\u00a0For a hundred euros, you will treat yourself to an unforgettable view from your room.\u00a0Tested and approved! <\/p>\n\n\n
