Athens, one of the cradles of antiquity, is a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. What could be more logical? A lot of our common heritage is to be found there. For centuries, it was the epicentre of Western knowledge and culture. So, whether the Greek capital is the destination of your trip or a simple stopover on your journey to, for example, the paradisiacal islands of the Cyclades, you will want to see the Acropolis at least. On this hill, 156 meters high, classified by UNESCO, are the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the temple of Athena Nike. But what would you say to admiring this postcard scene from your window? We did some research and here are 12 fabulous hotels in Athens with views of the Acropolis.
