Konnopke’s Imbiss

Located under the rails of the Eberswalder StraBe skytrain, Konnopke’s Imbiss was East Berlin’s first Currywurst. For more than 60 years, she has been offering a homemade recipe, which is a well-kept secret. The reputation of this stand is based on its four different spiced sauces, which offer a unique taste to each variety of Currywurst. The stand is in Prenzlauer Berg near several tourist sites. It is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
