🛎️ A little splash when you arrive? In Seville, it is often hot. So, we have made a list of hotels with a swimming pool in the city centre for you. You’re welcome!

📍 Where is Seville airport located?

Better known as Seville–San Pablo Airport , it is located approximately 10 kilometres northeast of the Andalusian capital . It is a medium-sized airport, the result of renovation work carried out as part of the 1992 Universal Exhibition.

The architecture of the place bears the mark of Andalusian culture. Palms and orange trees welcome you upon your arrival, and the mosque and the palace confirm this first impression. Inside, it is rather easy to orient oneself.

Seville has an excellent rail network with tram and metro lines. This relieves congestion in the city and connects Seville to the other major cities in the country. However, no train connection exists between the city centre from the airport.

The tram line that is available is far from the airport terminal. So, to go to the centre of Seville from the airport, you have to take either the bus, a taxi or even rent a car.

🚌 How do you get from Seville airport to the city centre by bus?

You can reach the centre of the Andalusian capital thanks to the “Línea Especial Aeropuerto”. This is the airport bus line. Its destination is Plaza de Las Armas, with many convenient stops along the way at Paseo Colon, Avenida Carlos V, S Bernardo, Luis de Morales, Santa Justa Central Station, and Kansas City.

It departs every 25-30 minutes from 05:20 to 01:15 (to Seville city centre) and from 04:30 to 00:30 (to the airport). It runs every day of the year. The journey takes between 30 and 35 minutes.

You can get the bus ticket from the driver on board at the price of four euros per ticket. The bus picks up from outside the main airport terminal near the taxi parking area. It is definitely the most affordable way to transfer from the airport to the city in terms of price.

If you want a quicker way to get downtown from the airport, take a taxi. The journey should take an average of twenty minutes. You don’t have to book, since taxis are always available at the station outside the terminal, right next to the bus stop.

Their price is not fixed; it depends on the time of day. On average, they usually cost €22 during the day and €25 after 10 p.m. and on weekends and public holidays.

The driver can only ask you for the price displayed on the meter, in accordance with the law. If you don’t want any surprises, VTCs (Uber, Bolt, etc.) are also available in Seville and its surrounding region.

Besides getting a taxi, you can also rent a car to get to the city centre – and enjoy the vehicle throughout your stay. There is no shortage of rental agencies at Seville airport. For example, there is Atesa, Avis, Crown Car Hire, Europcar, and Hertz . But of course, unlike taxis, you must book if you want to rent a car.
